The opportunity

Business Development brings SalonStreets to the salon owners who can benefit from a stronger local presence. You will introduce our directory, membership plans, booking tools, marketing services and Salon Institute education. Your territory will focus on assigned Southeast communities, with metro Atlanta as an initial priority. You will listen to each owner’s goals before recommending a suitable next step. Success means building lasting relationships and helping a business understand exactly what it is choosing. This role combines thoughtful outreach, local visits, online demonstrations and dependable follow-up.

Your responsibilities

Research local salons, braiding shops, barbershops, lash studios and other beauty businesses in your assigned territory. Arrange discovery conversations and demonstrate the relevant SalonStreets tools using accurate product information. Explain membership terms, separate service fees and the steps required to claim a listing. Keep prospect records, meeting notes and next actions current in the company’s customer relationship system. Work with onboarding and support colleagues to help new partners get started and resolve questions. Report activity, qualified opportunities and customer feedback without overstating expected results.

What you bring

Bring at least one year of customer-facing sales, partnerships, account management or comparable small-business experience. Strong candidates can show examples of organized follow-up and relationships built through listening. Clear speaking, concise writing and confidence presenting a short software demonstration are essential. Experience in beauty, hospitality, local advertising or community business networks is helpful. You should be comfortable learning new software and handling customer information responsibly. Local travel may be part of the assignment, and any travel expectations or required arrangements will be confirmed before an offer.

Proposed pay, benefits & growth

The proposed annual base range is $50,000 to $75,000, with commission terms to be defined in the written offer. Candidates with one to two years of relevant experience may be considered toward the lower portion of the range. Candidates with a strong record over three or more years may be considered toward the upper portion. Proposed benefits include paid onboarding, ongoing coaching, access to selected Salon Institute classes and paid time off for eligible employees. Work equipment, approved business travel reimbursement and any health coverage will be confirmed in the final offer and benefit documents. Compensation, employment classification, territory and benefit eligibility remain subject to the final role and location.
