The opportunity
Tech Support helps SalonStreets customers use the platform with confidence. You will work with salon owners, clients and internal colleagues who need clear practical guidance. Common questions involve account access, salon profiles, bookings, client records and marketing tools. You will turn a reported problem into a reproducible description and a sensible next step. The role values patience as much as technical curiosity. Your work will help the product team understand recurring issues and improve the experience.
Your responsibilities
Respond to assigned support requests through approved phone, email and ticket channels. Verify the customer’s authorized access before discussing private account details. Troubleshoot browser behavior, account settings, upload errors and routine workflow questions. Record the steps taken, the result and any information needed for an engineering escalation. Explain safe workarounds clearly and follow up until the ticket reaches an appropriate resolution. Maintain useful help articles and share patterns that could reduce repeated customer problems.
What you bring
Bring at least one year of help desk, technical customer service or comparable troubleshooting experience. You should be comfortable with current web browsers, screenshots, basic file formats and structured ticket notes. Clear writing and the ability to explain a technical step without jargon are essential. Familiarity with booking software, small-business tools or customer relationship systems is helpful. You must respect privacy, follow access controls and avoid requesting passwords from customers. The approved coverage schedule and any evening or weekend rotation will be confirmed before an offer.
Proposed pay, benefits & growth
The proposed hourly range is $24 to $35, with paid hours and any applicable overtime handled according to the final employment arrangement. Candidates with about one year of support experience may be considered near the lower portion of the range. Candidates with stronger troubleshooting, documentation and escalation experience may be considered near the upper portion. Proposed benefits include paid product training, selected Salon Institute learning and paid time off for eligible employees. Work equipment, any health coverage and remote-work arrangements will be specified in the final offer. Employment classification, scheduling and benefit eligibility depend on the approved position and location.
